Dr. Paul Rennie
Paul R. Rennie, DO, graduated in 1987 from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Rennie is board certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He is also a diplomat in the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy. He is presently serving as an associate professor and acting chairman of the department of osteopathic manipulative medicine at Touro University Nevada.
He has served as a clinical associate professor and assistant professor in the department of osteopathic manipulative medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the department of medical education in the Center for Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Mount Clemens General Hospital.
Dr. Rennie is the primary author of the book Counterstrain and Exercise: An Integrated Approach. He also co-authored the strain-counterstrain chapter in Foundations for Osteopathic Medicine, 2nd edition. published by the American Osteopathic Association. He has also lectured and published on these concepts both domestically and internationally.
He has worked with the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners on various committees for the past twelve years. He serves on the Publications Committee of the American Academy of Osteopathy. He is a board member of the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
